Dear Parents,
Hello , from Reception 3 !
Thank you all who came today, we hope you enjoyed the Fashion "Hat" Show and the time spent in the classroom making cards. It was good to see we have many creative parents who did their very best, creating some lovely flowers. This week we were very busy making sure everything was in place for today's big event.
We also celebrated the birthday of Sevil! She turned five and brought a very tasty cake to school to share with the teachers and the children.
RWI:
Miss Gunay is teaching us to read in a fun way, we are making puzzles and when the picture is complete the word is too and we are able the read the word underneath.
What was even more exciting was writing letter and number in shaving foam! We spread the foam on the paper, with our hands and loved it, then took our fingers dipped them in paint and wrote in the foam.
We have been talking about community helpers and we had one, a fireman coming to school, to show us his special uniform and talk about his job. He also gave us some advise on how to prevent a fire.
This week we have reviewed everything we learned so far. And as you will understand we did many art activities which you were able to enjoy during the art exhibition.
Here you can enjoy one more time the children wearing their beautiful hats, aren't they great!
Look, how our parents are busy..........
