Dear Readers 

This week we have been busy as usual. We have been learning the new sounds sh & r! 

We listened to words starting with this sound and we have tried our best to write the letters on the little white-boards.

Miss Suzie is explaining how we work in our number books. 

We also learned about how we receive information from the world around us; through our Senses!

The weather was pretty good this week and we were able to play out-side in the sunshine and we loved playing in the sandpit baking sand-cakes and cookies.

Parents please don't forget to put your child's diary in their schoolbag everyday and check it every day after school there might be some new information from us. We are very grateful to the parents doing so already and hope soon all our parents will get into the habit of this. Book Week!

Hello, from Reception 3!

As you know this week was our BOOK WEEK ,we have done lots of work.

For book week we made a big book about our busy day at school from when we arrive in the morning until it is time to go home. 

 

Elmira had some great news for us this week, she became a BIG sister to her little brother and to celebrate his arrival Elmira brought a delicious cake to school to share with us! 

We congratulate her and her mummy and daddy !!!!!

We have been looking at lots of  books this week,and  most of all we liked  a great author: Julia Donaldson, we love her story books and especially "The Gruffalo". Many activities we did this week were based on her stories and their characters, we listened to and watched the stories, sang songs and made puzzles and Grufallo  cookies.

  

 

When the weather is OK we go out-side to play! We love playing out-side and with our jackets on we don't get cold. Great fun we have. 

 

 

We work and play, have fun all day!

Special visitors came to our class this week to read us stories, Mrs. Nilufar and  Fakhri's mother-Mrs.Elnare. Mrs.Elnare read us a story about a Hedgehog and afterwards we made a hedgehog with paint and paper

.

On Wednesday the author Gulzar Ibrahimova came to school and we all got to meet her, many of us dressed up as characters from our favourite books.

Here you see us on our way to and in the library of the "big" school. Where we listened to and read some stories.

Murad turned 5 and we celebrated his birthday in class. Happy Birthday Murad. 

  

We finished this week with a very special day. First we preformed the story of the Gruffalo on stage and when we went back to class we had yet an other birthday to celebrate: Rahman's!!  

 Chocolate cake!!!
This week it was Book Week, but a little bit of Cake Week too!!
