Dear Parents

This week started with Children's Day and in honor of this we watched different videos about children. After watching we discussed the what we had seen and as well we talked about children's futures, protection and living conditions.

                                                                                                     

We played our now favourite game of "Cat to Cat" and we learned to use a new phrase "I can see a ... "

        
     

New tasks for group work ,our children like to compete and be the first!                                                       

                                                                                           
What happens first and what happens after! We had a careful look about how a story is build up. The different steps were represented in pictures which we first cut out and then pasted in the right order.

   

Fun we had with a new song named: "Can an elephant swim", we quickly were singing-a-long, and our new morning exercise routine.

                                                                                                

   

                                         

Also good fun was the cvc word games we played on the computer.

                                                                                                 

 

   











We played each others teacher by praising each others work.
                                         
                                                       

We watched a lovely story about an elephant going to the city, the name of it was: "Rosa is going to the city", after watching it we talked about it and added some new words towards our daily expanding vocabulary.

     

Naza celebrated her fifth birthday, unfortunately without Nizami who is staying at home due to a leg-injury. Congratulations to both of you...

                                                       

During number-time we learned the opposites "before & after", which number comes before ... and which number comes after ...

                                                                                                

     
Swimming time was as usual very pleasant and we had a good time playing in the pool.
 
 

The process of planting and growing we watched step by step on video and after we made a nice worksheet about this topic. And afterwards we played online game " LET ME GROW."

                                                                                                

A few children found some leaves on the playground and wanted to take them back to class, after lunch we worked together really well and turned them into a collective art-project,

Dear Parents

This 4 day week was full of celebrations, on Tuesday Miss Suzie celebrated her birthday, on Wednesday Ruslan and Thursday we had a day off to celebrate the independence of Azerbaijan.

   

It was also the week in which we revised the sounds: ch, th, ng, nk and a we learned a new phrase: I can see...
 
 











We were given a dictation, which we did independently, sitting all by ourselves.

Online we read some text and then copied the text onto paper.
           

 This week Amir  was very very happy,because his mummy came back from abroad and Amir brought present for the children .Thank you ,Amir!

 

Still in the Teddy Bear mood we made same great Bear-hand-puppets.
Fatima was creative with the Numicon-Number-Shapes and created animals with them.

           

We have a lot of fun at our music lesson!

Dear Parents

This week was full of activities leading up to the Teddy Bear Picnic. We watched lots of stories about real bears and Teddy Bears. We painted and coloured pictures of Teddy Bears.

We learned the sound ...nk, for: link, think & rink and wrote some words on our small white-boards.
 

Playtime was fun, we played with our Teddies.

 
   

As this week was our teddy bear Picnic week we were very busy doing art works leading up to the teddy bear picnic.

    

                                Our science lesson was joined to the Bears and we have learned The life cycle of the grizzly bears.

       

                             Reception 3  baked a Teddy Bear cake and we made some Teddy Bear cookies.

         

 And today was the day of the Teddy Bear Picnic. In the morning we prepared sandwiches for the picnic, finished our Teddy Bear passports ans then we went out-side to the playground.
